Is a rust crate I wrote for my Jeep to monitor events so I can know when doors are opened or when somebody unplugs it while charging.
The software runs on a Raspberry Pi mounted on my dash, connected to the cabin’s non-critical CAN network (A Jeep JL’s critical network is separate).
An older, yet still updated, Android phone hidden under the trim provides LTE internet access. Aux switches allow it to be powered on and off, even when the vehicle is off.
